Question: How to get the requester ip address from the connection? #9

It's a dumb question, but I'm at a loss here, how would I find out the IP (for logging reasons) of the requester of my resource? I'm just thinking of inserting an X-SomethingIP custom header from reverse proxying my server with apache/nginx.
