What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any story file
2. Click the Windows Close button (top-right)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The application should ask me whether I really want to quit.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I'll try to tackle this in the forthcoming enhancements to "general window 
behavior"
under Windows & Linux.

I am reluctant to add this feature as such, though I have an alternative 
implementation in mind: automatically snapshotting the game's progress, so that 
launching it again will resume where the previous session left off.

I would like to build this feature into the enhanced game launcher, when that 
appears.
