Probably the required font was not downloaded (or you skipped the process).

  1. Download the font from here:
    https://github.com/HoshinoArika/WTRTI-Localization-CHS/raw/master/Fonts/SourceHanSansCN-Normal.ttf
  2. Place it in the Fonts folder.
  3. Select it at Settings -> OSD tab -> Aa:
