[1.13-1.16] Can't access config

I just downloaded the new version for 1.13.2 and when I click on the wrench, nothing happens. I also can't get a full stack of items when enabling cheat mode. any help?

Same here, but if you want Cheat mode hold down CTRL and Left click the Wrench icon. 👍

The config GUIs have not been implemented in Forge yet, so I've just disabled it for now.
I'll leave this issue open though, so people can see the reason.

Is there any update? i recently used the new forge and JEI version and still can't access configuration.

The only thing that works is cheat mode but only by pressing Ctrl and the config icon.

Seeing as it has been 6 months now, it would be nice if we could just manually write a config instead, but from what I can see there is no documentation regarding configuration. Could this be changed? @mezz

I still need to work on this. It hasn't been a very high priority yet because 1.14 is still just getting started. I am still mostly focused on working with mods on their integration with the new JEI API in 1.14, to make sure it has everything needed for mods so that it can be stabilized.

I was going to post about it, but I see you already know the issue.
Also, a recent windows update made my taskbar conflict with reaching button in borderless windowed mode (despite the fact it doesnt work atm, I had to disable IT before finding out the wrench doesn't work still) so that's nice.

I've been on 1.14 for months with JEI. As an op, it would be nice to have this one slipped in somewhere between the mod compat work.

Oh sorry, my bad. I thought the 1.16.2 version was compatible, but it wasnt. Just uploaded the 1.16.1 build.

Thanks for your interest. Just like I said, that was just a hacky proof of concept. I'd like to do a proper rewrite of the configuration system and maybe even add ingame config. I'll make a PR then.

The ingame config was realized using FTB GUI Library (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ftb-gui-library)
It is an optional dependency (when you dont have it loaded, the config gui wont display).

The configs get stored in a standard forge toml file.

ftg gui library has been existing for some time now, but config ingame still doesn't work with the ftb gui library for 1.16.5 installed? did the internal config break outright or get disabled?

I had the same problem as others: "FTB GUI Library Needed". I was running

ftb-gui-library-1605.2.1.41-forge.jar

Based on Darkmega18's post I added

ftb-library-forge-1605.3.1-build.48.jar

and now it is working. I think IMarvinTPA explains this over here: and he's more knowledgeable on the topic than I.

Problem might be that FTB GUI Library was just renamed to FTB Library, still having it with ftb-library-forge-1605.3.4-build.79 and jei 7.7.1.126 with forge 36.2.8 on mc 1.16.5

I recommend using the latest version of JEI with the Configured mod, it should work more reliably.

config menu still comes up on 125 jei and latest gui libraries etc. having to constantly load out of the world to change the config due to forge config resetting bugs only for it to reset again and so having to go out of the world again to refix it over and over is just pain.
