Un usuario puede estar interesado en recibir notificaciones sobre ciertas categorías o productos, o eventos de otros usuarios.
Por ejemplo:

Se ha cargado un nuevo precio en categoría/producto en tu zona
Se ha cargado un precio menor al habitual
Un amigo ha cargado un precio

Esto puede implementarse como un "simple" rss en una pestaña donde se ven los eventos, con la opción de notificar
