Awake - Add to Shortcuts menu #29592
Comments
If you have Awake enabled, you should already have an icon specifically for awake, and you can control if from there. (blue coffee cup icon) |
My request is for a toggle in the shortcuts menu. |
I understand. Just curious why thats easier for you than just using the awake icon? |
Because I don't use Awake very often and don't want it in memory unless I need to actually use it. |

Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report! |
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Please add an Awake toggle to the Shortcuts menu that pops up when you click the PowerToys menu, toggling the most recent setting.
Scenario when this would be used?
I generally only use Awake to keep my computer on indefinitely when I'm running a job, and would like to be able to toggle it quickly from the Shortcuts menu. I don't really use keyboard shortcuts apart from the basics.
