I've upgraded from WSL 1.2.5 to 2.0.0 using "wsl --update; wsl --update --pre-release"
Then I launched wsl.exe ...
No more prompt, or error or anything else. I should stop with CTrl C.
Expected Behavior
I can play with it...
Actual Behavior
Only wsl -v is running, all other wsl command stay idle.
$ wsl.exe -v

I have solved this problem. I just found that my Windows updates were stuck. So after fixing the BITS (intelligent transfer system) and a reboot, WSL works without a hitch.
Why might BITS have an effect on WSL?
