Steps to reproduce the bug

Potentially confusing when buttons appear/disappear. Also, from a UX perspective, I like the Finder tool, and I want to keep using it to switch from one app to another, without having to go to the process list, and without having to bring my target app window to the foreground so I can then use the hotkey.

The Finder tool should stay where it is, and not be replaced by the target app icon. Instead, simply add the target app icon/name to the right of the Finder tool.
