Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

  • VS Code Version: 1.60.0-insider
  • OS Version: Windows 10

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Terminal
  2. Terminal defaults to PowerShell, even though I have it set to wsl
  3. The "+"/New Terminal correctly opens wsl, it's only the initial terminal that is shown that is always incorrect
  4. Same happens when opening a different folder/workspace - the initial terminal reverts back to PowerShell

Open terminal (powershell), with open 'New Terminal' dropdown showing that 'wsl - Ubuntu 20.04' is set as default
