Move editor tab of vscode to left side

Could I move all editor tab of vscode to left side instead of top?

In Pycharm, this feature looks like this:

this feature request has already brought up for a long time, why isn't there a solution for this until today?
is this feature to hard to be done? or any other reason?

We decided as a team that https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/wiki/Roadmap entries have higher importance. Once we do another roadmap (probably 2023), all issues are being assessed again.
