  • VSCode Version: 1.38.1
  • OS Version: Windows x64 10.0.17763

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Highlight a word in the editor
  2. Use command "Add selection to next find match"
  3. type to replace word
  4. Open the find and replace dialog
  5. In the find section the word that was just highlighted is current and any previous ones are bumped.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

Bug: Either the text that replaced the highlighted words should be in the replace field of the find and replace dialog or (preferably) this action has no effect on the find and replace or find dialog
