  • @mikemimik movies or pictures?
  • For Android, adb screenrecord, instructions here: Would be nice to have flutter screenrecord flutter/flutter#3496 (or just search google).
  • For iOS, you can use Quicktime Player, New Movie, and select an attached device. No way from a simulator that I know of.
  • For stills, flutter screenshot works great on devices. Or devices have screencap button combos on both platforms.
  • iOS simulators have a command-S command to capture a screenshot
  • so lots of ways :D

Depending on how you plan to display them, we have found the command line gifify useful for converting .mov and .mp4 into .gif for use on github, etc. Also I failed to mention that flutter screenshot doesn't work for iOS yet: flutter/flutter#5150
