In Brazil we have a document what is called CPF (Register of Individual) and has a total of 11 characters long, filling the 11 character field lock, not allowing press TAB.

@newerton I added support for the TAB button to be used when the maxlength is reached, I didn't tested it on IE but does works on FF and Chrome.
