I thought the hills were too small. So I changed the noise parameters and I realize that when the ground is high, there is a cleavage at y = 47.

Look at this, it's flagrant :
Cleavage at y=47

47-48 is a chunk boundary. So it's probably a problem in the map generator. Could it be fixed ?

Mgv6 terrain is designed to stop before y = 47 to avoid chunk border bugs such as lighting discontinuities, therefore terrain continuity was not attempted. Since i've been working on terrain continuity in my mapgens i might attempt to fix this issue.

I've already noticed lighting discontinuities. Jungle grass, leaves or water, for example, placed at y = 47 are often dark (not always). Idem for the cleavages.

I like the idea of high hills like that.

Is it because of these bugs that the mountains are so small by default ?

I will attempt to fix this, eventually.

This was fixed recently.

Yes sort of, restricting terrain to the surface mapchunk makes everything easier, simpler and faster. Mgv6 had mudflow which makes fixing this more difficult.
