Same here :( Kernel Panic about 20 mins ago. rMBP 13" late 2012. OS X 10.10.3. I'm too afraid to try for the second time. |
This is a problem with VirtualBox. You will run into this issue once VirtualBox has run before, since it messes up the CR4 state. There is nothing xhyve can do. :( |
Could it be fixed by VirtualBox? Maybe you should create a ticket as you know what's the problem. |
@mist64 I don't mind removing VirtualBox. How would I go about resetting my CR4 state? |

@AntonioMeireles Which issue can we use to track this problem? I've uninstalled VirtualBox following the directions found on their website but I am still having the restart issue. |
