Okay, that's really weird. That line is registering a network registry.

NetworkRegistry.INSTANCE.registerGuiHandler(DiseaseCraft.instance, new GuiHandler()); <<< That's supposed to be client-only?

The GUI handler is on both, it can reference classes that are refrence client only things, but it can't reference them itself

That's the only part of the code that the crash references. I'm don't know what's really going on. The GUI handler is set up correctly.
