"strip_workspace_numbers yes" doesn't work.

Usually adding the line "strip_workspace_numbers yes" into the bar section of "~/.i3/config" would remove the numbers from the workspace names, e.g. "1shell" becomes "shell", but it doesn't appear to work for this version of i3.

Sorry about that, you'll really have to patch the newest version yourself, I mostly just keep this up so that people can find it if they want it.

If you do want to go through and patch it yourself, you should be able to do it fairly easily by cloning this repo and then making a patch from 'git diff master..dsm-changes'. I don't think any huge changes have happened so the result should apply to the most recent source-code without much trouble.
