Describe the bug
I don't know, I shared a link, then later start the app and saw there was a "-1" displayed in my inbox 😅

Maybe we should have the number of unread comments, so it should be positive or null integer

Actual Behavior
I have a negative value

To Reproduce
Don't know 😅

Mlem Information:

Interesting! We've been getting occasional reports about the -1 inbox count, but it's been one of the most consistently difficult bugs to reproduce. This is valuable context!

It happened again.
Not sure the details below will be helpful, but I share them 🙂

  • I opened the app
  • Go to the inbox view
  • Saw a comment and replied to it
  • I upvoted it
  • And then the red notifications with a "-1" count appeared, like if upvoted a comment from 1 to 2 without checking / pulling to refresh and get the updated count previously put it in bad state

Repro steps:

  1. Have no unread items in inbox
  2. Swipe down to refresh
  3. Mark an item as read
