Deployment does not work, main.scss error, can't find stylesheet to import

Jekyll version: 4.3.2

What happened?

The website ran well locally, but when I try to deploy the website, the build failed raising this error:

Error: Can't find stylesheet to import.

The error is similar to this discussion: Netlify build keeps failing, but it was never answered as the author did not reply back.

Expected behavior

The website should work both local and deployed.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. git clone https://github.com/mmistakes/minimal-mistakes.git
2. Modify the website
3. Did several local testings, works just fine.
4. Deploy, but always fail regardless of changing the main.scss

It turns out /_sass/minimal-mistakes/vendor was not properly copied. After copying it, the website was deployed just fine.
