Describe the bug

Weird rendering while browsing mod version, might be a bug on Mali gpus. Overlapping list entries in mod list and mod author list.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Try going to https://modrinth.com/mod/vulkanmod/versions on Mali G57 MC1
  2. Scroll

Expected behavior

The site to not bug out like on PC and Adreno GPUs.

Additional context

Not sure if this happens on all Mali GPUs or just for me, also not sure if it's driver dependent. Probably won't happen on Firefox, I used Edge, it probably affects other Chromium browsers too.

You should report this to Edge developers, or Chromium developers instead if this happens in Chromium too. This is not a Modrinth bug, and we cannot do anything to fix this.

This has been reported on Chromium issue tracker but was closed as "won't fix (infeasible)". Modrinth cannot do anything with this. Please use Firefox instead.

Is it any better usability-wise with the new update? I know the underlying problem can't be solved, but wonder if actually using it has gotten any better?

@Minenash according to @Felix14-v2 this is still very much happening. This is definitely not a problem on our end, though.

Reddit says that enabling ‘Override software rendering list’ or disabling ‘GPU rasterization’ in chrome://flags should fix that.

But the interesting thing is that only the list view is broken:

@Minenash @SolDev69 I finally found a way to fix the issue (at least on my device) without disabling GPU acceleration. I found that Chromium allows you to use Vulkan as a graphics backend, and enabling chrome://flags#enable-vulkan fixed the issue on my device (Mali G52 MC-2).

Just in case, here's the full list of enabled flags:
