As of now, the library returns a date format which might be a little difficult 
to use right-away.

Can you please add support for additional date formats.

At the moment this library provides standard Java Date objects. What kind of 
additional date formats do you have in mind?

Supporting Joda-Time would make this library dependent on another library. That 
is not desirable.
