The dashboard shouldn't have any version or hits information when created through the elasticsearch api. This issue doesn't happen when created via kibana interface, and the issue states this is a non-issue in 6.x so temporarily maybe we should remove the hits and version fields from the bootstrap. Running through some testing now.
