I refined the STR a bit and attached a screen recording of the issue for more clarity.
STR:
Install Side View version 0.6.5727
As the sidebar no longer opens automatically on extension installation, manually open the sidebar via CTRL+B. This will open the sidebar on “Bookmarks”
From the dropdown menu at the top of the sidebar, select “Side View”
Notice the “Welcome” screen is displayed in the sidebar, which has a “Watch a tutorial” link
Click the “Watch a tutorial” link
Observe that two new tabs will be opened with the tutorial on YouTube
