Having trouble with Hyperpixel4 GPIO display #156
Comments
Do you have details on this display? I know waveshare needs special devicetree (DT) layouts and such. |
I don't but I managed to fix this by going into the config files and changing the expected resolution to the one on the display which was 800x480 or something like that. Once I made the change I compiled the code from scratch on the Pi and it is now perfectly lined up with the display and fits. My understanding of all this is somewhat surface level so forgive my misuse of jargon or lack of details. |
Okay, so you altered the python code to run at a specific resolution and that solved the issue? Or did you have to do something else. Also, if you have a link to where this display can be bought I'd appreciate it. |
Yes precisely, that solved my problem. Here's where I bought it: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3578 Here is the official product page on the Pimoroni site: https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/hyperpixel-4?variant=12569539706963 |
I am trying to use this with the Hyperpixel4 as the display output but it does not seem to work or I am missing something.
