Hi,
I'm using a standard AWS AMI:

[root@ip-172-31-11-133 msgpack-php-master]# uname -a
Linux ip-172-31-11-133 4.1.10-17.31.amzn1.x86_64 #1 SMP Sat Oct 24 01:31:37 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

the configuration aborts immediately:

[root@ip-172-31-11-133 msgpack-php-master]# ./config.guess
x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

How can I work around it ?

my fault, phpize was failing...
