For example, DatePicker mode defaults to portrait, but this is set by Calendar (I think...), so the default isn't shown in the properties table.

@mbrookes : The documentatin has been updated now. I can see mode being mentioned in the Datepicker component itself.

Can this be closed?

I don't believe this has been systematically reviewed for all components, so I would suggest to leave it open.
