I'd like to see this added as a framework component. I would consider a lightweight menu default a more essential feature than dropdowns, etc. Especially since the Material spec almost always implements this type of menu.

If not include it, a link to this example (maybe add a few example layouts?) Somewhere would be super useful. It was something I searched the docs for and had come here to find one.

It would be useful for those of us trying to ditch jQuery dependency.
