Hello,

I'd like the project but at home I have just ESP32 wroom.

I'm going to buy something else.

In the other issue I've found:

ESP32-LyraT-Mini
ESP32-LyraT
Ai-thinker ESP32 audiokit.
ESP32 wrover

What's the better choice?

Thank you

  • ESP32-LyraT-Mini
  • ESP32-LyraT
  • Ai-thinker ESP32 audiokit

they should all work.

ai thinker is a little messy to figure out the exact settings for your board. They changed the DAC Chip and some interrupts in the past without changing the partnumber.
On a quick check they seem to be harder to find on the usual suplliers). So you may consider buying LyraT - But i do not have one on my own.

"ESP32 wrover" is only the bare module. So you have no sound on board.

There is a board especially for euphoinum in the making: https://github.com/Thenicolaibulow/muVox - but i don't have more information about this.
