Actually only the pure build process is documented within the readme.

There shall be more documentation about the build process:

How to (de-)activate catch unit testing
How to generate test coverage reports
How to build packages (deployment)

There shall be documentation about app usage (and a man page):

How to start the app and
How to change (audio device) settings
