Describe the bug
I am updating a brand new MyNode device I built following the instructions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/mynodebtc/comments/e4jscx/faq_how_to_update_mynode_community_edition/

It is hanging on Setting up containerd.io (1.7.19-1) ... does not progress past this just locks up.

MyNode hardware (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Raspi4 8GB RAM
  • Version 0.3.24

Additional context
Seems like this update to containerd is new because a bunch of other stuff updated to it just the other day as well.

A couple ideas:

  • Try killing the update and re-try, especially after a reboot
  • Containerd can take a long time to upgrade, be sure it give it a lot of time
  • Try re-flashing the SD card or use a new one. Read/write operations may be failing
  • Try again with an external drive attached so docker is operation and running before the update

Yes I think it is docker that is the problem, it is failing completely, maybe as you say because I don't have external HDD yet. Actually I am planning to mount a network share but emulate a local drive. I will close this issue for now.
