Why is "n8n" pronounced "nodemation"? Can we add "nodemation" to the logo? #53

What am I missing? Does 8 translate to something that sounds like "odematio"?

or is it that the 8 looks like two circles, i.e., two nodes?

ahh nevermind, I see there's a fuller description in the README that's not on the documentation site. Sure, people eventually started abbreviating Kubernetes to k8s after hearing about Kubernetes. It's just odd that in all documentation and branding/marketing there is no mention of "nodemation". I've been calling it "nation.io" for the past couple of days, for lack of a more obvious pronunciation. Please consider updating the n8n.io website branding to make the "nodemation" more obvious. Even Kubernetes uses "Kubernetes (k8s)". Perhaps you can use "n8n.io (nodemation" and/or somehow integrate "nodemation" as a logotype to be included with the current logo, forming a combination mark?

I can't be the only person who refers to it as "n-ate-n"?

You are not. I've been saying it in my head so much now that it has become "Enaten".

Kubernetes wasn't the first to use this kind of abbrevation or better a Numeronym.
I'ts a common way to shorten long names, some examples:

Accessibility (a11y)
Internationalization (i18n)
Localization (l10n)
Globalization (g11n)
Localizability (l12y)
Serendipity (s9y)

Closing this. Github issues are gonna be used just for bugs. If you guys are interested in a feature request or propose any change in the design like @briantully did (btw sorry for the late response) . you can do it in our community. https://community.n8n.io/.

@briantully Thanks for taking the time to put that design together. Would you mind moving this discussion to the community? I pretty sure a lot of community members will like to provide feedback to the logo you designed. I'm pretty sure our head designed will like to have a look at it as well.
