JioSaavnAPI

An opensource (unofficial) API for jiosaavn website build with python and FastAPI

Feaures:

• Search songs using any query
• Get song details from the jiosaavn song url
• Get all songs from the jiosaavn album/playlist url
• Song details include many useful fields such as image_url, album_id, artists details, lyrics (only if supported), jiotune preview link etc.

Installation:

Clone this repository using

$ git clone https://github.com/naveennamani/JioSaavnAPI

Install all the requirements using

$ cd JioSaavnAPI
$ pip3 install -r requirements.txt

And run the app using

$ python3 app.py
or 
$ uvicorn app:app --reload

Navigate to http://127.0.0.1:5000/docs to see the interactive documentation made with OpenAPI and check out the API endpoints.

API endpoints available:

/search?query=<any query> : Pass any query as the query parameter and get the details for all the songs matching the query

Note: song/album/playlist links shared from the jiosaavn website/app can also be passed as the query

/song/{song_id} : Pass song_id obtained from /search results /album/{album_id} : Pass album_id obtained from /search results /playlist/{playlist_id} : Pass playlist_id obtained from /search results
