Two examples where it would be useful:

ignore modules, matching wildcard (protobuffer-generated modules)
ignore symbols, matching wildcard (groundhog-generated Fields, Selectors, Contructors, ...)

Weeder 2.0 is being developed at https://github.com/ocharles/weeder so I suggest you go see if that fixes your issues.
