Question: What happened to the About this date field?

This is where we'll add information about a specific date, when something interesting is going on in an image, or we have a Climate Current events post to link to the image.

I haven't ever tried to populate it, and now I don't see it. I recall that David Stroud designed it to come up from the bottom on the Description tab.

In David Stroud's design the About This Date field only appears when there is data for it. If you enter a description for a snapshot then the field will show up at the bottom of the description tab.

Right. But under the hood, I don't see the field where I could enter a
description...

If you click on the edit link at the top of a snapshot page it will lead you to a edit page where you can enter text for the About This Date field.

Yep. There it is! I was so used to skipping that step I move right past it,
repeatedly.
