This is an installation/system issue, not a Neper issue.

You are simply not using the new binary you compiled (v4.1.2). Did you run make install?

I assume you are calling Neper as neper on the command line. Run which neper to see what file this corresponds to. This file is your Neper v4.0.2. It is to be removed or replaced by the new one (v4.1.2).
