NetBox version

v3.2.4

Feature type

New functionality

Proposed functionality

If you want to follow the current curve from a device to the PowerPanel, start with the power port of the device.

With a power strip or UPS, you can link the power outlet with the power port.

This is then also shown in the view of the Power Outlet.

However, the power port does not have a link here. So you first have to go back to the device in order to follow the current flow.

Improvement:

Display the Power Port as a link in the Power Outlet area.

Use case

This is required in order to trace the electrical connection.

E.g.
To which power strip is the mains cable connected.
To which UPS is the power strip connected.
To which power feed is the power strip connected.
