@televisi hi. You didn't explain what "local-custom-dashboard" is. Consider providing screenshots. And, more details in general. It is not clear what "seems the dashboard from earlier session not saved" too. |

Thanks for your reply @ilyam8 'local-custom-dashboard' is basically the 'dashboard' tab accessed through local netdata (in my case http://192.168.1.26:19999/) as you can see below, I have renamed the dashboard and configured it with a couple of metrics When I copy paste the URL into an incognito mode, the following is what shown instead: I wonder, how can I make the dashboard view to be persistent? Thank you |

I learned this "the hard way" today myself. Seems like the only way to sync dashboard layouts is to use Netdata Cloud, or perhaps create a custom HTML layout using the old V1 dashboard model |

I felt the assumption of self-hosted user only access the local custom dashboard on a single computer is really weird. And what if people put it behind a reverse proxy and want to monitor their homelab remotely? There should be at least a way to export the custom dashboard layout in case of browser changed. |

Hi,
I installed Netdata on a docker (host is using QNAP).
The docker compose I used:
I added various metric/reports into local-custom-dashboard.
I also renamed "local-custom-dashboard" into something else
And saved the dashboard.
When I tried to access the dashboard from a different browser (or in incognito mode); seems the dashboard from earlier session not saved.
Is this an expected behaviour? OR did I miss a docker configuration to allow the dashboard to be saved (and accessible from other browser)?
Thank you
