Whether user have internet connection or not, the app should react lively and give information to the user.

Actually it does. If there's no connection with the server you will see a notice (i) Server unavailable at the top of your folders under the search bar.

Meanwhile, it is not mandatory related to the Internet connection, which is normally tracked by your phone/tablet/etc itself.

I have tested this in master and this issue has been addressed.
