1. It is really cool!!!
2. I am no usability expert but my impression is that the poll app is perfect for this kind of "visual candy": it is a useful app that does not require a prolonged interaction. So the background has not enough time to become annoying!
3. I did not have idea that this was possible in Nextcloud! Cool to see you pushing the system to the limits
