Viewers on e.g. GNOME and macOS make it possible that when you reached the last file of the list, that you can continue, looping around to the first one. Same with the first one where you can go back to the last.
The Viewer app at the moment doesn’t show the "Previous" button for the first image, or the "Next" and "Slideshow" buttons for the last. (This also makes it impossible to loop a slideshow.)
Instead, the viewer should just loop around and not have any specifics for the first or last image. :)
