Calendar needs ability to sync with google calendar.  Without this ability
calendar will be overlooked.

calendar is far from what google calendar can but it is not sharing any info 
with google. for me this is why i'm using it in the first place. if ever 
changing that, make it opt in and not opt out or even obligatory.
