When the firefox webdriver is called, the following exception is raised:
'geckodriver' executable needs to be in PATH.

Download geckodriver from here.
And then append path to its location to environmental variable PATH.

done. and it works seamlessly.

@vinayakvivek After downloading geckodriver, what did you exactly do for "then append path to its location to environmental variable PATH." ?

PATH=$PATH:/path/of/geckodriver
