Nitrokey is not connected!

Hello!

I cannot access any feature from nitrokey-app2. I always get the message Nitrokey is not connected!

The dongle worked from the beginning, zero configuration, for 2fa.

I have installed using apt-get, from ubuntu 24.04 and pipx for nitrokey.

# dpkg -l | grep nitro
ii  libnitrokey-common                             3.7-1.1                                  all          architecture independent files for libnitrokey

I have setup udev rules, as in:

and rebooted.

I have checked the instructions from Nitrokey/pynitrokey#167 (comment) and all the commands work as expected.

I have tried all the commands from this page: https://docs.nitrokey.com/nitrokey3/linux/set-pins.html and they also work as expected.

But I still cannot access any feature from nitrokey-app2 :-/. I still get the message Nitrokey is not connected!

Oops, sorry, it was nitrokey-app (1) that is installed in ubuntu, rather than nitrokey-app2. I miss some functionality on nitrokey-app (1), though, but it seems that everything can be done with nitropy...
