Currently, PaHM uses ADCIRC/SCHISM type of mesh definitions (ASCII) to generate wind data for. As PaHM is designed as a general purpose atmospheric system to be used in coastal/regional applications, it is necessary to incorporate additional mesh/grid definitions to support other mainstream ocean and wave models. Furthermore, PaHM should also include standard native grid/mesh definitions and the capability to digest user defined grid/mesh definitions to generate the wind data for.
