A micro service in 15 minutes

Summary

One of the purported benefits of micro services is that they can be developed quickly. Over the last 18th months we've evolved a suite of tools which enable us to do just this. Last March a new starter wrote and deployed a genuinely useful micro service to live on their first day. I'd like to demonstrate these tools by attempting to do the same in just 15 minutes.
