remove all markup files/images from repo. (use .gitignore)

Why? How will we be able to modify the contents of the book if we remove the source files? I'd also like to be able to accept patches.

the source should be markdown, the markup should be generated used to build your pdf for distribution.

The source for the book is Markdown. Check out the Makefile to understand how the build process works.

Which files exactly do you want to remove?

I want to keep the repo clear of build debris. Lets remove the HTML files and keep it pure markdown. It appears currently that there are duplicates, ie - a markup file for every markdown file.

I was already planning on moving the generated .html files to a separate folder before the handbook was ready for review.
