There's usually a short cat-herding time at the start of the meeting and then occasionally we have some quick private business to attend to before we can start recording & streaming. • Regarding Proposal: Detect ESM syntax in every ambiguous file node#50064, there’s nothing really to discuss, I just wanted to make sure the TSC was aware of it and if anyone had any concerns that those get raised as early as possible before a lot of effort is devoted to that proposal. Note that it’s different from the earlier, similar Proposal: Set --experimental-default-type mode by detecting ESM syntax in entry point node#50043. For either proposal the goal is to arrive at something that can be eventually enabled by default without a flag in a not-too-distant future version of Node.
