(sorry I am not aware of submission protocols, so I put it all together in one area -- hope this inspires good alterations to the software)

The video resolution thing, there is no standard to keep proportion when maximized. That is to say when one maximizes the camera window, the proportions get altered in a way that isn't balanced-- person looks wider but shorter. Also maybe add ability to show your own video input optionally as a picture within picture window within the camera view of the friend-- enable or disable within the configurations.

@Ultimic To clarify resizing the camera window, I think you mean maintaining the aspect ratio.

Also, chat commands are a great idea. /me comes to mind.

Yes, that is what I mean. I think that if cameras permit, resolution+FPS control (if it is easily coded and not operating system specific -- like libraries already available for cross platform camera API might be useful too (Along with the maintaining aspect ratio)
