In the Sofie-project at NRK we work in sprints, generally 2-3 weeks long and we'll communicate the status of each release here. The releases are also documented here.

Note: This issue is subject to change and will be updated as development progresses.

The contents of this release is not planned yet, more updates will follow.

Development status

This release is planned to start 2022-04-20.
This release is planned to be frozen 2022-05-11.

Due to resource-contraints, finalizing of this release will be skipped. Next release to be properly finalized will be Release 44.

Summary of features

To be announced

• Update Meteor to 2.7. As part of this it is recommended to update MongoDB to 5.0 ([r43] Update Meteor to 2.7 and update MongoDB-related typings sofie-core#704)
• Remove support for upgrading an installation from versions older than 12 months. In the unlikely scenario this is needed, it can be achieved by stepping through other versions (feat!: clean up deprecated Databases and DataTypes sofie-core#713)
• Better support for gateways using OAuth (fix: OAuth code returned via redirect_uri sofie-core#719)
• Move more logic out of meteor and into the workers (feat: move more logic into workers sofie-core#718)
• Fix shortcuts in detached shelfs (fix: RundownView now uses TriggersHandler with detached Shelfs. sofie-core#714)
• Fix Dashboard panel positioning (fix: dashboard panel scale affecting position sofie-core#655)
• Fix for some hotkey handling (feat: use Sorensen prevent default down option and configurable poison key sofie-core#708)
