Is it possible to output the standard error on hated alpha ?

I'm not sure I understand the question; how would you calculate the standard error?

A priori, by using formulae (3.2) for real data and (3.6) for positive integers in [1,arXiv version].

Ah, okay, these formulae are not implemented in plfit yet.
